What this template covers

  • The three sections every due diligence account must include under the Norwegian Transparency Act
    • How to describe the risks found in your supply chain and any actions taken to mitigate them
      • How to get the report approved by the BoD, signed, and published correctly

Why companies that meet the criteria must publish a due diligence account

The Norwegian Transparency Act requires companies operating in Norway that meet the thresholds above to assess and publicly disclose how they manage human rights and working conditions in their supply chains.

This means documenting what risks you’ve found and what you’ve done about them, and publishing it annually. Non-compliance can result in fines of up to 4% of annual turnover or NOK 25 million, whichever is higher.
